The first author of the pub/sub paper is actually is now a faculty at Purdue. I think it's the first paper to systematically analyze three forms of decoupling in space, time and synchronization. I remember reading a TR from IU sometime back which surveyed pub/sub systems and quoted the paper you have mentioned.

Good stuff. I have read some of the papers in your first post, and will definitely look at these ones as well.

Btw are you surveying the papers as part of your thesis or is it for some course?

These are for couple of reasons. First these papers are sorta must read papers of my field and currently I'm surveying on the related papers to get a better understanding. Secondly these papers are relevant to my oral qualifying exam, coming in couple of days.
I just wanted to introduce these papers to newbies in these field, as the wisdom one can get from these papers is enormous
